Speakers and Panelists:
Jeff Bieganek  - Executive Director, MBA Roundtable
Prior to joining the MBA Roundtable, Jeff was the Director of the Omnium Global Executive MBA Program at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.  As Director of Omnium, Jeff oversaw all operations of the program that delivered learning modules in Canada, India, China, Switzerland, Brazil, Turkey, Hungary, Italy, UAE and Argentina. Jeff joined the Omnium program after 10 years at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management where he served as Director of MBA Admissions and was responsible for recruiting and admitting students into the full-time, part-time and executive MBA programs which had grown to over 2,000 enrolled students.  Jeff was active in the management of Carlson’s Executive MBA International Residency program, which traveled to China, Hungary, Sweden, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Poland, Hungary and Austria.  Jeff has served on the Board of Directors of the Executive MBA Council, as well has been active with the Graduate Management Admissions Council.  Previous career adventures have included managing a vocal academy, fundraising and marketing for an international dance festival and managing productions for a Broadway producer.  Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Management.
Dr. Michellana Y. Jester, Lecturer and Course Faculty Lead, MIT Sloan School of Management
Michellana has almost twenty years of management consulting, human resource and organizational development experience. Prior to joining MIT Sloan, Michellana was a strategic management consultant responsible for assisting clients facing complex organizational and/or leadership challenges move to action. She demonstrated a talent for pursuing solutions that met the unique needs of an organization, working with private corporations, non-profit organizations, and public agency clients. As a consultant and during her time as the co-founder and managing partner of a leadership development firm, Michellana served as an executive coach for high potential leaders, assisted leaders transition out of and into new roles, and assisted core teams improve their effectiveness. For five years, Michellana led MIT Sloan’s Action Learning Program, growing their portfolio of experiential learning courses and serving a number of administrative and academic capacities including mentoring students and faculty, lab design and implementation, and developing experiential learning course tools and assessments.  In her current faculty role at MIT Sloan, Michellana draws from her private and non-profit sector experience to assist MBA and other graduate students link theoretical management concepts to real world business challenges. Michellana is responsible for leading the design and delivery of MIT Sloan’s largest project based course, as well as recruiting host company partnerships that align with the program’s goals and Sloan’s mission of developing principled innovative leaders. Michellana leads and supports the course’s cadre of faculty advisors and staff that work with the student teams, which includes onboarding, mentoring and coaching as well as design and developing tools, and evaluation surveys and rubrics. Michellana develops, supports, and assesses program learning objectives, as well as works to ensure the transfer of learning among multiple stakeholders including faculty, students, and host companies. Michellana holds a Doctorate degree from Columbia University and a Master’s degree from Harvard University.
Sandra Kenny, Executive Director – Business Consulting, Eller Graduate School of Business, University of Arizona
Sandra Kenny is Executive Director of Eller Graduate School of Business Consulting at the University of Arizona. In this role Sandra is responsible for recruiting corporations to engage in semester long consulting projects with Eller’s MBA and MIS graduate student teams. Additionally, she develops and teaches an ongoing core curriculum course and an advanced consulting projects elective, which include working closely with clients to negotiate project scopes, facilitating team project development and critique of interactive client presentations in pursuit of final deliverables -having positive client impact as many of these go “live” within the corporations and become the impetus for repeat business.  In previous roles Sandra has over 20 years of corporate consulting experience with Hitachi Data Systems, Comdisco Inc, and ATT/NCR Corporation where she developed and managed multiple start-ups within these established entities to include development of new technology processes, marketing channels, building national and international sales teams, setting sales and marketing vision, determining pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and product management/marketing initiatives.  Sandra is actively involved in the academic community in Tucson, AZ, has taught as an adjunct instructor at the university and community college levels and has an undergraduate business/marketing degree from De Paul University and an MBA Degree from Loyola University.        



Kerry Laufer, Director, OnSite Global Consulting, TuckGO, Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth University
Kerry Laufer joined Dartmouth in 2008 and has been the Director of the OnSite Global Consulting course at the Tuck School of Business since 2013. She also serves as a faculty advisor to Tuck MBA consulting teams and has accompanied students on experiential learning projects in Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, South Africa, the UK, and Haiti.  She has visited and/or worked in more than 50 countries throughout her 20+ year career in education.  Her areas of expertise include experiential learning, higher education strategy, international educational development, and business development.  Prior to Dartmouth, Kerry served as Vice Dean for Institutional Development and Quality Control at Effat University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (from 1999-2007). Projects she managed there included the design and launch of new undergraduate degree programs in Business Administration and Engineering.  Kerry is passionate about promoting deep cross-cultural engagement through education and business, and about the power of experiential learning. She also co-leads the Tuck corporate relations team, has served on Tuck’s curriculum design committee, and is a member of the Global Business School Network’s experiential learning advisory board. She holds an MA in Education from LaSalle University (1999) and an undergraduate degree in French from Swarthmore College (1994).
Shannon McKeen, Executive Director, National Consortium for Data Science
Shannon McKeen, Executive Director, National Consortium for Data Science, is responsible for developing relationships with universities, industry and government agencies for Data Science research and collaboration. He serves as a Faculty Advisor in UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Experiential Learning program and in Dartmouth’s OnSite Global Consulting Program.  He is an Instructor in Kenan-Flagler’s online MBA program and in the Master of Business Analytics program at Wake Forest.  Shannon has 20 years of executive experience in sales, marketing and general management, with extensive expertise in growth strategies, new products and brand rejuvenation.  As an entrepreneur Shannon has worked with start-up companies and with new divisions of larger companies.  He serves on the Board of Trustees for Fryeburg Academy and the city of Winston-Salem Budget Advisory Council.  He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Marketing Executives Network Group, and the Inception Micro Angel Fund.

Jordan Novak, Director of Product Design and Development, Capsim Management Simulations
Jordan Novak is the Director of Product Design and Development at Capsim Management Simulations, a global leader in business simulation technology and services designed to teach and assess business acumen and leadership. Novak has more than a decade of experience in process and service redesign, product management, product strategy, and business simulation design in the education and information technology industries. Novak and his teams regularly work with institutions applying for or maintaining their accreditation with AACSB, creating personalized solutions, products, and reports to accomplish their goals.  The products created by the teams he leads have received industry awards from EdTech and SIIA CODiE for their innovation and overall industry impact in education.  Novak is also an adjunct professor at DePaul University in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship, where he teaches undergraduate courses in management and strategy.
