2026 One Year MBA Consortium Meeting

Join us for our annual meeting taking place on Tuesday, October 27th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in advance of the 2026 Roundtable Symposium at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business. There is no registration fee to attend.

As early career, one-year accelerated MBAs become more popular, it is clear that a community is needed for schools that offer this type of MBA to share information and best practices, enhance the credibility of this type of degree, and establish collective thoughts (in the form of a white paper) on the criteria that rankings outlets might use in the future to evaluate and rank this newer form of the MBA.
Currently, the one-year MBA space is the “wild west” with many different types of degrees and audiences. For example, some Executive MBAs have been shortened and rebranded as one-year MBAs. This type of MBA typically has an experience requirement for admission. These types of MBAs should be evaluated and ranked differently and separately from one-year MBAs that have no experience requirement as they serve very different markets and have different designs and learning objectives. This is just one example of the clarity that this group will bring to this quickly evolving space.
