Director of Sustainability, Penn State Smeal College of Business
Erik Foley is the Director of the Center for the Business of Sustainability and Instructor in Management and Organization at Penn State's Smeal College of Business. The center's mission is to accelerate the integration of sustainability in business which is done through a community of scholars, educators, students and industry partners. He is faculty director of the Business Sustainability Strategy Graduate Certificate Program (offered through World Campus) and co-director of Executive Programs' Building a Sustainable Supply Chain short course.
 

Travis Maynard

Associate Dean for Academic Programs, College of Business, Colorado State University
Dr. Maynard teaches team effectiveness and leadership classes at both the undergraduate and graduate (Denver Executive MBA and Global Social & Sustainable Enterprise MBA) levels at CSU where he has been nominated for a variety of teaching awards. Additionally, Travis has provided numerous talks to industry members on tactics they can employ to improve their team’s performance levels. In addition to teaching, Travis has also conducted extensive research in the areas of team effectiveness and leadership. Specifically, his research interests include the role that team contextual variables have on team interactions and outcomes. Recent research endeavors have focused on the effect of team members interacting via technology (virtual teams), and the impact that organizational climate has on team dynamics and performance. He is currently conducting research projects with the U.S. Army and NASA looking at team resilience and adaptation. He has received several research awards for his publications in the Journal of Management, and has also published in the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Group & Organization Management, Small Group Research, Organizational Psychology Review, and Human Performance.
 

Andrea M. Prado

Associate Professor of Management and Organizations, Director of the Strachan Chair of Philanthropy and Social Investment, INCAE Business School
Andrea M. Prado is an Associate Professor of Management and Organizations at INCAE Business School. She holds the Strachan Chair for Philanthropy and Social Investment since 2015. Prado’s research explores the role of companies to achieve sustainable development in the countries where they operate, particularly through their corporate social responsibility strategies and delivery of products and services to low-income segments. She also studies the impact and dynamics of industry self-regulation (e.g. adoption of voluntary certification programs) to promote environmental and labor practices in emerging economies. Prado has published her research in prestigious academic journals, books, and book chapters and has received multiple international awards. Prado served as the Academic Director of the Central American Healthcare Initiative (CAHI) since its inception in 2012 to 2019. CAHI seeks to catalyze access to quality health services for low-income populations through cost-effective innovations and enhanced management capabilities in the region’s healthcare sector. The organization pursues its mission through a fellowship program for healthcare leaders in the region. Prado received a PhD in Management and Organizations from Stern School of Business, New York University, a MSc. in International Economics from the University of Essex, UK and a BSc. in Economics from the Universidad de Costa Rica. She received a Fulbright scholarship for her PhD studies and a Chevening scholarship for her Master studies.
